This ingenious invention comes courtesy of the King as the latest way to expedite exquisite gifts to the joyful citizens during this wonderfully jolly time of year! Built using the mysterious power of the Festive Comet, the Holiday Express can easily circle the globe faster than a starving Silvertail scarfs a stash of SUPER|brie+, delivering presents to all the good hunters and subjects of the Gnawnian Kingdom!
Curmudgeonly Coal CEO Confiscates Crucial Commodity!
Word on the street is that local coal, cash, and crude oil enthusiast Ol' King Coal is furious that the King will be using Compressed Cinnamon, an eco-friendly coal substitute, to power his magical train instead of Ol' King Coal's patented Glo-BA-Warm brand coal: now with 100% more carbon emissions! To retaliate, this mousey millionaire has stolen Gnawnia's entire supply of Compressed Cinnamon in an effort to force the King to use his diabolical, planet-killing product instead.
So the King is now calling upon all the bravest hunters to thwart the profit-thirsty thief and help deliver the loving largesses to the people of Gnawnia. Using the power of the Holiday Express and enlisting the aid of the magical Snow Golems,

Return of The Snow Golems!
The adorable and adventurous Snow Golems have returned to help you on your mission to stop Ol' King Coal and deliver gifts to all of Gnawnia! Start by travelling to the Festive Comet and using any standard bait to collect Pecan Pecorino Cheese from the mice there. Once you've collected some Pecan Pecorino or purchased some Glazed Pecan Pecorino from the Premium Shop, you can use it to attract a variety of mice that drop Snow Golem parts. Once you find a Snow Golem Head, a Snow Golem Torso, and four Snow Golem Limbs you'll be able to construct a golem to send out on a loot recovery mission!
Your golems will return from their mission in 25 hunts time carrying a bundle of loot from the areas you sent them to as well as a bunch of Compressed Cinnamon to fuel the Holiday Express. Use this to stoke the engine of the train, drop the gifts off at the current station, and race towards the next one. When you do, you should probably hold on... TIGHTLY!
As payment for your service to all things holly and/or jolly, each station will reward you with a cool glass of Mechanically Invigorating Liquid Krypton! You might not find it too appetizing, but your golems will absolutely love it! You can use the M.I.L.K. and Cookies to upgrade your golem generators to create stronger golems capable of bringing back even more Compressed Cinnamon along with a greater quantity and quality of loot items!
Brand new this year is the Festive Jingle Bell. Replacing the Festive Summoning Bells from the previous years, these will let you reduce the number of hunts required to bring a golem back by one per bell! Don't forget to stock up on these little beauties in the Premium Shop to speed up your golems and get those juicy rewards faster!

Keep that engine fueled with Compressed Cinnamon and eventually you'll make it to Ol' King Coal's Factory and come face-to-face with the head honcho himself. There you'll have a chance to capture the stingy stakeholder and collect a Charcoal Yule Log each time you catch him. While at first glance, it may seem like a grimy source of carbon emissions, you can craft it into a much safer and prettier Festive Yule Log via the heads-up display!
There are four varieties of Festive Yule Logs to create and decorate your camp with and each one will attract different mice that drop different flavours of Festive Sugar Cookies! These sweet treats are a favourite of the various shopkeepers at the Festive Comet and as such, they are offering some very special seasonal rewards in exchange for them.

Snowball Showdown
It's time to showdown once again as everyone's favourite snowball fight is back! You'll find Throwable Snowballs as loot drops while hunting at the Festive Comet. Your golems also return with Throwable Snowballs once they reach level four. Toss some snow to reveal shapes and earn prizes!
Take on a more rewarding version of the Snowball Showdown by using Snowball Showdown Dust when starting a new game! Have you got more snowballs than you can possibly throw? Visit the General Store at the Festive Comet where you can exchange 175 Throwable Snowballs for a Snowball Showdown Dust.

Profile Gifting
During the Great Winter Hunt you can visit friends' profiles to leave gifts under their festive tree which they'll be able to open during the Grand Gift Opening Ceremony on Thursday, December 23! Keep in mind that after the gift opening ceremony begins you'll no longer be able to send gifts, so don't delay, gift today!
Make sure to check your own Hunter Profile where you'll find at least three gifts: one from Larry, one from Ronza, and one from the King himself! These gifts, just like the ones given by friends, can be opened on December 23.
This year's Gift Opening Ceremony is on Thursday, December 23.

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why: Naughty and Nice lists are coming back to MouseHunt! These unique treasure maps will have you track down Great Winter Hunt mice in search of valuable treasure chests! The chests contain goodies to help you in your festive hunting endeavors and can even contain an Advent Chocolate. Using Rare Map Dust will result in a rare chest, which always contains at least one Advent Chocolate!
Nice Lists are less rewarding but not as difficult. You and your map mates will have to track down a variety of event mice but none that require HUD decorations. These are great when first getting started.
Naughty Lists are more difficult but also more rewarding! To complete these maps you'll potentially need to have unlocked all the unique HUD decorations by capturing Ol' King Coal multiple times.

Passing Parcels
Once again, it's time to share the love with your fellow hunters! These parcels cost 50,000 gold and can be sent as gifts to friends via the gifting interface. Each Passing Parcel has been repeatedly wrapped an unknown number of times. Upon receiving a parcel, open it to either find an item or another wrapped gift that must be forwarded to another friend. The charms inside the Passing Parcel have been given a refresh and include varieties of Snowball Charms, Rift Charms, and Winter Charms, just to name a few.
Winter Aura
Each time a Snow Golem returns it will extend the duration of the Winter Aura. This festive enchantment adds +5 Luck to your trap and gives mice a chance to drop a variety of festive loot items including Winter Hunt Gift Boxes based on your Hunter Title. Looking for lower-tier gift boxes? Carefully use the Hunter's Hammer to smash the box into a lower tier and just hope there wasn't anything fragile inside!
New Year's Celebrations at the Festive Comet
Once the New Year's event begins, you will be able to send Snow Golems to the Festive Comet where they will return with various event-related goodies including the new 2022 charms! Catching Ol' King Coal will also reward you with the New Year's Yule Log decoration which you can use to attract special New Year's Mice that will drop Firework Sugar Cookies for some special New Year's rewards!
The New Year's event will begin on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021!

The Great Winter Hunt will enter shutdown phase on

On Wednesday, January 5 2022, the Great Winter Hunt event will enter its shutdown phase. At this time, Pecan Pecorino, Golem Parts, Sugar Cookies, and other festive items can no longer be found as loot drops as the Festive Comet slowly melts back into the Vacant Lot.
The Great Winter Hunt will end completely on
Tuesday, January 11 2022
Hunters can continue to send out Snow Golems until the event ends completely.
After the event ends, any Golem Parts and Animated Snow in your inventory will melt away, M.I.L.K. and Cookies will evaporate and crumble, and any Compressed Cinnamon will be collected by the King.
Make sure to use up all of these resources before January 11!
Travel to the Festive Comet and join the festivities!
