Hello MouseHunters!

Wednesday was a special day for HitGrab as we released our landmark title Clan O'Conall and the Crown of the Stag on Steam for PC and Mac!

Clan O'Conall is a beautiful, hand-drawn action platformer that is based on Celtic lore. It features on-the-fly rapid swapping between the three O'Conall siblings: Kilcannon the Swordmaster, Clakshot the Huntress, and Haggish the Brute. The Queen of Demons, Caoranach, seeking to rule over mortals has stolen the Crown of the Stag - an artifact which binds the lands of Mortal and Fae. The siblings must battle through the lands of Hibernia and the Faerie world in order to reclaim the Crown and save their father's life!

This is the culmination of a journey for HitGrab that began in 2018. The concept for the game originated when we discovered some wonderful unused character concepts that had been sitting on our lead artist's blog for over a decade. From there, we went from in-person development and early appearances at conventions to having to pack up the office and learn to adjust to remote work.

The cancellations of major conventions throughout 2020 made it hard for us to get the game in front of the audience we were hoping for but, thanks in large part to the wonderful support of the MouseHunt community, we were able to successfully fund the project through Kickstarter in late 2020. After a closed beta with our backers, we are finally ready to share this beautiful passion project with the world.
