Sporeticus
The Sporeticus Mouse fights to lead his mousey brethren out from the darkness of the caves and out into the sun! Whispers of a world beyond the closed, cavernous walls, with cheese beyond the imagination, drive this little explorer to find a way out!

Spore Muncher
Spore Muncher mice have a poor sense of sight that is offset by the glowing spores that grow along their backs. This symbiotic relationship allows these mice to find other spores. This is also partly self-preservation, as they tend to ignore any blue-hued fungus, thinking it could just be another Spore Muncher.

Mouldy Mole
The Mouldy Mole shuffles around mostly blind but still able to see the light fluorescent glow emanating from the various fungi throughout the caverns. Fumbling around in the dark, he sometimes mistakes stones for tantalizing mould spores resulting in one too many chipped teeth!

Bitter Root
One of the oldest living mice growing below the caverns. Gnarled and aging but full of wisdom. These mice thrive in the dark, damp and mouldy atmosphere, living for hundreds of years. The younger, more visibly vibrant mice of these old caves often ignore his sage advice, which is enough to make anyone bitter!

Mush
Preferring to take shelter deep underground, the Mush mice pick nice, damp and warm locations to spend the majority of their life. Mostly stationary, they will uproot and hop around when something interesting captures their eye. This is probably the one mouse that would be easier to catch without a trap by just picking them up!

Quillback
These sleepy little guys take it easy down under. They mostly live hunched over and roll around looking for food. Once they find it, they usually nap and keep it safe and warm underneath them leaving a nice, warm breakfast for when they decide to wake up. Their big, sharp quills keep other mice away, giving them all the time in the world to finish their food.

Mushroom Sprite
This devilish Mushroom Sprite Mouse haunts the depths of the Fungal Cavern. A terror in her own right, she goes about screaming and spooking those that share the dark caverns below. Her camouflage allows her to scurry between the fungus without being seen.

If a mushroom looks out of place or there is suddenly a new patch of fungus that wasn't there before, watch out!

Crag Elder
These mice are incredibly slow moving, much like the shifting tectonic plates beneath Gnawnia. The elders spend most of their time leaning up against the cavern walls, watching the younger mice and criticizing their life choices. They almost blend in completely with the rock walls, making it tough to spot out who it is exactly that's chastising you.

He's a real craggy one! Unless he gets his naps...

Crystalline Slasher
Driven mad with mineral madness, this stalker sulks around searching for delicious minerals to feast upon, even if they do not belong to him. Mice are lucky if they only encounter a Crystal Slasher once in their life.

Despite his unpredictable rage, this mouse actually gets along quite well with the Fungal Fodder mice. Maybe it's because they don't carry precious stones around with them, but together they get into some serious trouble!

Splintered Stone Sentry
Posted up at major intersections throughout the caverns, the sentries make sure everyone keeps moving and nothing clogs up the passageways. It is very tempting for those fungus mice to just post up and start growing in the most inconvenient locations, so someone has to keep them moving them along!

Shattered Obsidian
Raw, spiritual mousey energies from within Gnawnia have exploded throughout the deep caverns. The mousey energy looks to consume raw gemstones and minerals to keep a physical form preventing them from dispersing back into the ether.

Without constantly consuming minerals, these mice's bodies will become unstable and fall apart.

Crystal Controller
One with the crystals, the Crystal Controller can crystallize any liquid on command. He can instantaneously crystallize his sweat into a protective suit of hardened crystal whenever threatened and, like a porcupine, he can shake the shards loose, tossing these crystals offensively at a predator.

He can step across a pond safely, solidifying the liquid below his feet, but the crystals he leaves behind dissolve easily in water and have a uniquely salty flavour to them! Ew.

A mineral-seeking underground cave worm mouse! This mouse is as powerful as it is terrifying. Crystal Lurker
A mouse consisting of a pure, hardened crystalline structure, he is highly unstable and insatiably hungry for gemstones. Its supernova core immediately heats up the consumed materials to repair, extend and expand its body. The immense heat and pressure inside the chest cavity of this mouse super-heats the air around it, causing small bits of rock to float within the cloud of hot air surrounding the mouse.

The Crystal Lurker always stays lean and never grows too large. The constant and vigorous digging and foraging through the caverns can cause quite a few chips and broken pieces!

Crystal Observer
These mice seek out, sort and store all manner of minerals, gemstones, diamonds, and other delicious crystalline edibles within the Fungal Cavern. They determine which stones are suitable for consumption of energy.

With an eye for clarity, cut, karat and colour, this gemologist is always on the lookout for that deliciously special gemstone snack! Mmm!

Huntereater
The Huntereater is friend to no mouse or man! Encrusted with gemstones, it waits for other gem-enriched mice to wander by looking for food before ambushing them! Her blood-red ruby-like tail is incredibly beautiful and appears incredibly similar to a Flameshard, the symbol of the Marching Flame of the Fiery Warpath! Did the Warmonger create the totems for his army in the image of the Huntereater's tail, or is this the source of the Flameshard itself?

Though precious and beautiful, the tail is extremely venomous and tricks other mice into grabbing at it, believing it to be a simple gemstone.

Crystal Behemoth
This mouse is quite a rare sight! Its sleek, greasy flesh crackles with a powerful energy and it moves unlike anything the hunters of Gnawnia have ever seen before. Elegantly gliding through compacted earth, it's quite shocking to see how effortlessly this creature utterly destroys the rocks around it, as if nothing could possibly impede this beast. Fueled by Diamond Cheese, it's hard to believe that any trap could stop such raw power.

Make no mistake, though seemingly lacking anything resembling eyes, it is far from blind. This creature can probably sense you through even the thickest layers of rock.
