Patch Notes for December 6, 2022

Content Updates and Changes

  • Revised description, as well as points, gold, and wisdom rewards for most Great Winter Hunt mice to be inline with their role and difficulty level for this year's Great Winter Hunt event
  • Mad Elf mice now have the same power type weaknesses as all other Great Winter Hunt mice
  • Novice Starter Kit is no longer listed on the Marketplace and has had its description updated to indicate it will not reward a 500lbs. Spiked Crusher if the hunter opening the kit already owns one
  • Stolen Birthday Gifts no longer have a chance of containing an Explosive Base to prevent hunters who already own an Explosive Base from possibly receiving nothing when opening the gift
  • Updated contents of Orange Winter Hunt Gift Boxes to add a chance of receiving Folklore Forest materials and items
  • Various event cheeses used during previous Great Winter Hunt events now have a 90% base attraction rate at all times of the year (Arctic Asiago, Festive Feta, Gingerbread, Nutmeg, Seasoned Gouda, and Snowball Bocconcini Cheese)
  • Profile gifts may now only be left under the tree of friends and teammates
  • The wrapping cost of profile gifts is now 10,000 gold per gift to slightly discourage a few scrooge-like hunters who send out massive quantities of thoughtless gifts and think of profiteering instead of gifting
  • Let it Snow Charms can now be smashed with the Hunter's Hammer to convert them into Glazed Pecan Pecorino Cheese
  • Winter Charms can now be smashed with the Hunter's Hammer to convert them into Pecan Pecorino Cheese
  • Festive Anchoring Charms can now be smashed with the Hunter's Hammer to convert them into Empowered Anchoring Charms
  • Passing Parcels are being phased out and can no longer be obtained but any in the possession of hunters can still be sent out via supply transfer
  • Frozen Fromage has had its description updated and may now be thawed by hunters even if they do not have the 12 lights obtained during the 2010 Great Winter Hunt
  • The Queso Fount Trap, Gouging Geyserite Trap, and Smoldering Stone Sentinel Trap now require completion of the Slay The Geyser Dragon adventure before they can be purchased from the Queso Geyser Trapsmith
  • Queso Thermal Springs, Thermal Chisel, and Geyser Smolder Stones can now be smashed with the Hunter's Hammer to convert them into Solidified Amber Queso
  • Bug Fixes

  • Iceberg success journal entry now correctly reads "[...]are three bonus chests!" instead of "[...]is three bonus chests!"
  • Corrected the high resolution image for Iceberg Claw Crate (was incorrectly displayed as the Furoma Claw Crate)
  • Corrected spelling of "seafaring" in description of Galleon Gouda
  • Bait now correctly disarms after publishing a Blank Page at the Table of Contents if the hunter has chosen to have bait automatically disarmed
  • Removed extra space in Table of Contents end of writing journal entry ("[...]disarmed by bait ," now reads as "[...]disarmed by bait,")
  • Updated description of the Spotlight Enchantment upgrade in Fort Rox to mention its doubling effect on Moon Cheese
  • Updated description of King's Calibrator to no longer mention which section of the inventory its located in for consistency across browser and mobile
  • Fixed incorrect tag for Curse Breaker Base causing "Lost City" to appear twice in the Trap Selector "Show" dropdown
  • Fixed incorrect tag for Smelly Sodium Base causing "Sand Dunes" to appear twice in the Trap Selector "Show" dropdown
  • Corrected high resolution image for SUPER|brie+ Supply Pack (was incorrectly using an image of SUPER|brie+)
