Birthday Events Ends and Old Trap Selector Removed
11th Birthday Event Closure
The royal tour of the King's SUPER|brie+ Factory has come to an end. The factory's pipeline has been secured, meaning hunters no longer need to help pump the delicious cheese though the factory's assembly line.
The various shoppes at the factory will remain behind for one week. The magic of the Golden Tickets will fade afterwards, so be sure to cash out any tickets you have!
Finally, with the factory in good repair, the various repair components can now be carefully disassembled using your Hunter's Hammer for one Party Charm each. These components will degrade after the factory once again submerges into the depths of Rodentia, so be sure to exchange them now!
Unexpected Downtime during Birthday Closure
If you were online and trying to hunt during the Birthday Closure you most certainly noticed the game was down for maintenance for 90 minutes. This downtime period was due to an unexpected performance issue introduced with the shutdown of the birthday event. Unfortunately we had to have the game offline while we corrected the issue.
Old Camp Section Trap Selector Removed
As announced on March 12, the old camp section trap selector has now been removed. Note that a setting still exists in your user preferences to continue to use the more colourful navigation buttons. If you'd like to use the original colourful navigation buttons, disable the "new navigation button style" setting by clicking the settings button at the top of the game and then select the Game Settings tab.
As discussed in the earlier news post, the reason for this change was to better support adding new features and content in the game going forward. We understand that some players were attached to the look and feel of the old selector, however, we reached a point where it was no longer technically feasible to maintain.
Based on feedback, the new Trap Selector has seen some improvements as part of this update:
• The TEM (Trap Effectiveness Meter) has been streamlined to fit more mice within less space
• The TEM now uses the "bar" rating system from the old selector instead of colour-coded ribbons
• Current favourite weapons, bases, cheese, and charms will now "float" as you scroll within the selector
If the old trap selector was something you used, please continue to let us know your feedback and suggestions on how to make the new selector something you love! Hit up the forums, comment on our Facebook posts, or drop by during Feedback Friday!

Paymentwall Disabled
The free offer system to earn SUPER|brie+ has always been somewhat unreliable when it comes to which advertisers successfully reward items. Last week, some particularly concerning offers surfaced that were misleading, which prompted us to disable the offer system.
We've since decided to leave the system disabled in the interest of promoting better Internet security practices and to avoid potentially exposing players to misleading offers or outright scams.
If Paymentwall was something you used regularly, we're open to hearing what you think of our decision to move away from it. Based on player feedback, we may consider having the offer system as an opt-in feature to ensure players are familiar with the nature and caveats of such a system before using it.
